CAFM EXPLORER’s openness means that
you can optionally use it to hold the central
asset register or alternatively connect
with other established asset registers.
CAFM EXPLORER can store numerous elements
of
data against an asset with the ability to
store information at sub levels.
Benefits also come from integration with
other facility data, for example assets
can be linked with reactive/planned maintenance
thus reflecting details of their service and
financial history. They can be located
through the hierarchy in the database
easily or viewed through AutoCAD. By linking
assets to a person they can be
moved dynamically whenever a person is moved
in
CAFM EXPLORER or directly within AutoCAD.
Each asset can hold a multitude of detail
that
can be divided into levels and presented with
documents and pictures.
CAFM EXPLORER also caters for tracking asbestos
in accordance with regulatory legislation.
CAFM EXPLORER track’s the condition
of the building elements i.e. structure, fabric,
mechanical, functional suitability and space
utilisation. Templates can be created from
CAFM EXPLORER and exported to hand held
devices to allow Users to roam and complete
survey
details all of which are then imported and
validated before updating the central database.
Data can also be exported to Microsoft Excel
to build a forward maintenance register
and track building life cycle costs. |
Cost
Control
For cost control CAFM EXPLORER is capable
of managing the complete facilities purchasing
requirement together with the provision
of invoice
matching stock control and cataloguing stock
items.
Costs can be tracked through projects
and budgeted values can be exported
from CAFM EXPLORER to budget spreadsheets
or
imported
from your spreadsheets with an option
to establish two-way links to perform
the operation in a real time mode. Financial
data in CAFM
EXPLORER can be allocated to budgets,
contracts and projects in a multi-level
tree to manage purchases, match invoices
and return actual
cost values to your budget spreadsheet.
With this kind of transparent view, further
analysis of expenditure and deployment to
budget holders
can be carried out with relative ease. |
