CAFM EXPLORER supports its own independent
Room Booking application designed to book
rooms and/or other resources. With it’s
unique booking wizard it manages room bookings
more efficiently with specific search criteria
to source and show the exact room to suit
your requirements. Booking reoccurrences,
layout types and attendees (including tracking
visitors) are but just a few of the options
that make
this a flexible and easy room booker system
to use. A gateway between CAFM EXPLORER
and
other
calendar based systems such as Outlook or
Lotus Notes can provide an automated notification
of calendar
dates to those attending a meeting. This Room
Booker application is available via our
CAFM EXPLORER Intranet
solution.
CAFM EXPLORER also provides benefits such
as automated work order instructions to
porterage or catering and an XML export
of booking
data that can be imported into any rooms
screen display systems. |
Software
Development Kit (SDK)
CAFM EXPLORER’s SDK is used by our
own developers to enhance the product and
is therefore a perfect tool for those more
technical users that would rather develop
their own custom
applications than rely on FMx.
This developer
community is closely supported with training
courses and forums as well as advanced level
support
to encourage in particular tasks such as
connecting to other business systems.
In our latest release, it is being made
available for our users to link in other
software applications such as HR or finance
as well as build their own software applications
within or appended to
CAFM EXPLORER. Our SDK makes it easier
to develop a program by providing all
the building blocks that expose the schema
of our intuitive relational database. |
