Quantum 7 Highlights (Apr 10)

Help Desk
	A Discard Email option has been added so an email message can be automatically sent to the assigned Service Provider or Trade Code when a Work Order is discarded. The Asbestos and Hazard Alert functionality has been enhanced to detail the description of the Asbestos or Alert Property in the alert warning message displayed at the top of the Work Order window.
PPM
	Copy PPM functionality has been added to CAFM Explorer. A new field has been added to PPM Schedules to allow them to be prioritised so, for example, statutory requirements can be identified. The Gantt chart has been improved with additional filters, the ability to run for all PPMs or PPMs with associated Assets or Associated Properties. In addition customers have the ability to display either PPM Frequency or PPM Duration information with Overridden Hours included or excluded.
Room Booker
	A new ‘Booking Type’ field has been added to allow customers the ability to categorise room bookings, for example, internal and external meetings. It is now possible to define the Bookable Days as well as Bookable Times for Rooms. The Room Booking Associations now shows the Work Orders generated from the Equipment and Services linked to the booking. Functionality to allow Work Orders linked to Room Bookings to be automatically completed once a meeting has taken place has been added. The ability to break a Recurring Booking and to be able to amend all information on this booking has been provided. The Room Booker has been enhanced to provide a Room Availability search that will return only Rooms that can be booked for the defined period and criteria.
People
	A new Association tab on a Person record shows Business Roles, Work Orders logged, Work Orders assigned (if Person is Trades Person), Purchase Orders authorized, Room Bookings booked by and PPMs (if Person is Main Contact) has been added. A new flag to show if a Person can authorize Purchase Orders has been added.
CAFMCAD
	New CAFM Cad application that provides improved polylining, hatching and labeling functionality together with compatibility with AutoCAD 2010.
	This application will be part of the CAFM Explorer delivery but can also be made available as an independent install via a CAFMCAD site license.
CAFM Today
	A new Live Reporting application – CAFM Today – has been developed. This application is displayed when CAFM Explorer is launched and shows alerts and essential information to users.
	This application will be part of the CAFM Explorer delivery but can also be made available as an independent install which provides an opportunity to sell CAFM Today as a site license.
CAFM Net
	A new ‘Engineer role’ has been added that allows Trade Code/Trade Person access via CAFM Net. Additional configuration options for Help Desk users to allow access to Notes, Assets, SLA or Assignment information. Additional Costs tab for Contractor users to allow estimated costs to be added to a Work Order. Ability to configure an email message to be sent to the Help Desk when a confirmed Room Booking is updated or when a contractor adds estimated costs onto a Work Order. Ability to configure the Open Work Order email notification message to be sent to the Work Order Main Contact when a Work Order is logged via CAFM Net.
Reporting
	New Help Desk, Room Booker, Budget, Contract, Project, Asset and People standard reports with additional parameters. The use of multi-select Parameters has been extended to all Help Desk standard reports.
