AutoCAD 2008 CAFM CAD is now compatible with AutoCAD 2008

Contractor Access A new CAFM Net product was been introduced to enable service providers to have a limited view of CAFM Net to update and complete work orders.
Internal & External Access The logging in process for CAFM Net has been enhanced to enable both internal and external access to be granted from the same CAFM Net installation.
Emails An option is now available within CAFM Explorer to send email notifications to the helpdesk when notes are added to work orders.
New "Look & Feel" Within SP4 CAFM Net is going to have a new look and feel which making the product easier to use and navigate as well as providing an improved overall design.
CAFM Net Configurabilty Within SP4 users will be able to personalise the colour of CAFM Net and add corporate logos where required.
CAFM Net Compatability CAFM Net will be compliant to Section 508 Accessibility Standard within SP4.
Standard Work Orders The ability to select standard work orders for logging calls within CAFM Net will be introduced in SP4.
Administration Settings New administration settings will be introduced within SP4 to enable customers to configure a selection of fields to be either visable or not visable to users.
Notes There will be an option to add notes to work orders via CAFM Net.
Event Log An option will be made available within SP4 to enable users to view the event log of a work order via the net application.

Bookable & Viewable Rooms It is now possible to have rooms bookable within the application but only viewable on line.
New Calendar Screen An Outlook style calendar was introduced to the CAFM Net product for the booking and searching of rooms.
Enhanced "Booking Wizard" An enhanced booking wzard has been introduced into the Net application to enable simpler selection and booking of rooms, associated equipment and services.
On-Line Booking of Equipment & Services Within the CAFM Net application it is now possible to book assets and service items from pre defined menus.
Edit and Deletion of On-Line Bookings It is now possible within CAFM Net to edit and delete room bookings if the currently logged in user is either the contact or host of the booking.
Building Sensitisation CAFM Net will now recognise the location of a user from the CAFM Explorer databasse and present by default rooms for booking within their building.

Hotfix Packaging The installatin process has been enhanced so all hotfixes for CAFM Explorer and CAFM Report Explorer are issued as MSI files.
Easy Install A new application has been included within the product to enable easier installation. This will assist users who wish to install the product independantly.

Help desk Performance when running 2nd retrieve of work orders within the helpdesk has been enhanced.
Room Booking Performance As the room booking area of the application has been significantly enhancecd several performance enhancements have been made to this area to increase the speed of the process of booking rooms and associated equipment and services.

New Asset Work Orders Report A report has been created which will detail specific work orders that have associated assets.
Report Explorer Multi-Select Several reports now have multi-select functionality and it is now possible to run key reports on a selection of locations not just one or "all".
Report Scheduling It is now possible to configure report schedules for a "Tomorrow" date parameter. This schedule will automatically update to be the current date, plus one day.
New Completion Details Report A new completion details report has been provided which allows the work order parameters to be set and the completion details to be exported / reported.

Room Booking Time Limitation An enhancement has been introduced to allow system administrators to limit the time in advance that a room booking can be made.
New "Hosted By" field A new field has been introduced into CAFM Net and CAFM Explorer to provide the ability to have a contact for a room booking and also a "hosted by" field which facilitates the booking of rooms by one person such as a PA for another.
Gantt Chart Performance A new feature has been introduced into the room booking Gant chart to enable CAFM Explorer to store booking information for a period to increase the speed of room booking naviagtion from the Gantt chart.
Meeting Attendees Car Registration When assigning meeting attendees to room bookings it is now possible to add ad-hoc car registration details. These can in turn be passed to security or used to allocate car parking spaces.
Auto Issue of Room Booking Work Orders System Administrators can specify if room booking related work orders are to be automatically issued to assigned service providers.

Introduction of new Stock Security Module The security area of CAFM Explorer has been enhanced to enable System Administrators to assign different security rights to the Stock area of the application.
Default Dictionary Location The default dictionary settings have been enhanced to enable customers to have one centralised dictionary for all users to access.
Turn Off Spell Checker The spell checking functionality can now be independantly turned off.
New Product Help New CAFM Explorer Help is now available which provides more detail and easier navigation.
Helpdesk Email and Hyperlinks Within the email notifications from help desk it is possible to insert hyperlinks to email addresses or web sites for use with feedback forms and surveys.
Enhanced People Import The people import has been enhanced to allow more detailed scheduling, more fields, greater error reporting and deletion and hiding of person records.
