Planned preventative maintenance (PPM), a schedule of regular work to keep equipment in good working order, is crucial to this.
Manufacturers provide PPM specifications for their equipment, however when you are dealing with tens, if not hundreds of thousands of assets, this task can become quite overwhelming.
